If you’re in or around New Haven, Yale SOM’s 3rd annual Philanthropy Conference is coming up next Friday, and I’m putting together the panel called “Funder/Grantee Relationships” that will feature pairs of funders and grantee organizations talking about how the evaluation process has been shaped over time. We have a great all-local lineup for this panel including Kim Healey, executive director of the NewAlliance Foundation; Barbara Strauss from the Clifford Beers Clinic; Sarah Fabish from the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven; and Deb Stewart from The Consultation Center. Also, my first post-NYC choral performance is coming up on Monday, as I’ll be singing some tunes with the Yale Repertory Chorus at Battell Chapel at 5pm. This group is one of two paid ensembles that support the choral conducting students at Yale. The chorus sounds quite good and the performance is free.
