The 2017 Createquity annual retreat will take place in Boston, Massachusetts, and to celebrate, we’d like to invite you to a presentation and discussion of what Createquity has learned from our efforts to understand the arts ecosystem over the past three years – and what we’ve learned about learning itself. The program will include introductory remarks from Createquity, the official presentation of the first-ever winner of the Createquity Arts Research Prize (!!), and a series of lightning presentations summarizing and synthesizing Createquity’s in-depth research on a number of pressing issues in arts and culture. Afterwards, we will host a facilitated discussion inviting audience members to reflect on what we’ve learned about the arts ecosystem, what we still need to know, and how we might go about building that knowledge. Ample time for networking and complimentary coffee and pastries will be provided.
