    Kind of annoying in that it perpetuated the “NEA funds individual artists to do weird meaningless elitist projects” myth and didn’t get into the factual merits of the arguments being made. But yes; funny.

      Well, he is a comedian; stereotypes are their bread and butter. At least it’s evident he invested more than 10 seconds in understanding the underlying issues, which is more than can be said for most of his peers.

        Sure, I just think it seemed like a missed opportunity for some really good Lee Greenwood jokes.
